As most items are made to order, then chlorinated to make powder-free, we publish a current manufacturing time guide on the front page of our website. Whilst we normally aim to despatch your order within the published time, external factors may occasionally cause a varience and we will advise you of this if it is likely to add any more than a week to our original estimate. You may then at your discretion confirm you wish to continue waiting for your goods, or amend your order.
All packaging is secure, fit for purpose and discreet. Your delivery details will be printed on a label and placed on the outside of the package. The return address will simply be shown as 90 Park Road, Rugby CV21 2QX UK. Any export/customs documentation will show a generic description of goods e.g pyjamas.
We use Royal Mail first class post and their rates are plugged in to the website shopping cart module, together with the packed weights of all items. When you check out, the module automatically calculates the correct shipping rate based on the weight of the items and the shipping address, whether UK or overseas. As Royal Mail has a 2kg limit on airmail packages, we will advise if a heavy order needs special attention.
A courier service can be provided on request at extra cost.
Taxes and Duties
Any import taxes or customs duties imposed by your authorities are your responsibility to settle.
What happens next if you're not happy with your new Catalyst products.
You may wish to return goods for the following reasons:
- Damaged in transit
- Supplied incorrectly or faulty
- Ordered incorrectly
- Don't like them
Under EU Distance Selling regulations, you have the right to return to us for a full refund any new, unused goods that you simply don't like, within 5 days of receipt, provided they are a stock item and were not made for you specifically.
Goods damaged in transit should be notified to us within 3 days of receipt, and we will repair/replace at our discretion, and deliver back to you the items as new, at our cost.
Goods that we have supplied incorrectly, that had not been agreed as an order variance, will be replaced by us and delivered back to you at our cost. Faulty goods should be returned for assessment and repair, replacement or refund as considered appropriate.
Goods that you ordered incorrectly may, at our discretion, be replaced or refunded, if those goods are new and unused, and returned to us at your expense.

For reasons of hygiene and good manners, we are unable to accept returns on any goods of an intimate nature and/or that show any evidence of having been worn/used in any way.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Our latex rubber garments are made from either sheet or moulded natural rubber latex - NRL.
NRL is a component of thousands of everyday and household products, not just rubber gloves and balloons, but elastic in clothing, some toys, surgical equipment and more. Natural proteins found in NRL and certain foods like avocado, banana, chestnut, kiwi fruit, potato, tomato can produce an allergic reaction in rare cases. We advise clients who have this allergic reaction to avoid normal latex garments, or try a small test piece first. A full catsuit is not recommended.
If you experience any unusual swelling, itching or redness on contact with latex, please remove the item and seek medical advice immediately.
Some clients with this hypersensitivity have reported that the chlorination process used by Catalyst Latex on their latex clothing has reduced and in some cases completely negated the allergic reaction. A test piece of chlorinated latex can be made available to you upon request.
Handling your latex clothing and equipment should be a pleasure.
Latex is however quite fragile and can catch easily on sharp objects.
Please take care in the vicinity of jewellery and other adornments, sharp nails (finger or otherwise), spiky heels and allegedly innocent household objects, potatoes etc.
Sheet latex can stretch up to 50% of its original length, but latex garments can't, as you risk splitting the seams. Remember, latex IS porous and can absorb water, perspiration etc. at which time it is at its weakest. Most latex damage occurs when taken off after a warm, sticky session.
Contact with metals can be bad. Copper, copper alloys (incl. brass, bronze, coinage), coated copper products, and your naked flesh (if it has been in contact with the copper rivets on the inside of your jeans - yes, go look) can cause permanent, irreversible staining, most noticeable on lighter colour latex.
Finally, be very careful of polishes, oils and solvents. Unless it says suitable for latex rubber, assume that it is not!
It's important to clean your latex wear; how you do it depends on the degree of soiling. After a quickie wear, simply wipe any marks away with a clean damp sponge or lint-free cloth. After dirty wear, consider undressing in the shower. Your garments should be handwashed in mild soapy water, rinsed in fresh cold water, then left to drain.
Do not use strong detergents, harsh chemicals, abrasives or organic materials in cleaning processes.
You should always make sure your latex is dry before storage. After washing, hang your garments so that water can freely drain out from pockets, feet etc. Make sure the garment is not hung against or near a source of heat, flame, sharp objects, nor is hung in such a way as to put stress on seams or joins, or would cause any undue distortion.
Dabbing with a towel can be pleasant and helps to dry the garment quicker. Once it appears dry, turn inside out and repeat. Once dried both sides, go through the whole process again to make doubly sure that the porous latex has really given up all its moisture. Sometimes after drying, latex may appear discoloured, black may appear grey-ish etc. This is usually due to moisture retained in the pores, and will normally disappear once the latex is fully dry.
This should be done after cleaning and drying. Latex garments should be stored in a cool, dark, dry place, minimising stress, tension and fold lines. For hanging, you might use plastic or varnished wood clothes hangers, padding the shoulders if necessary, and slipping a black bin liner over the garment. Smaller items can be gently folded and placed in a drawer. Avoid storing contrasting colours next to each other - it doesn't look good, and colours may bleed.
Caring for your coachwork
Your new latex garment comes clean as a whistle on the outside.
The latex has been made powder free and slightly shinier than before.
No care is needed other than wiping with a clean damp cloth and washing (per clean/dry/store)
If you choose to go for a high lustre shine, there are many products on the market that will achieve this.
Catalyst Latex do not endorse any particular product: please feel free to make your selection from the list.
- Silicone Oil
- Autoglym Tyre and Upholstery Polish
Your latex garment had been manufactured to be powder free and slip on nicely.
You may feel a kinky urge to squirm around in a swamp of jelly, inside your latex gear.
There are many products on the market, none of which we endorse, but do feel free to choose from this list:
- Silicone Oil

All prices are subject to change without prior warning. However, the price agreed at the time of contract will be fixed and firm for that supply.
Payment for goods is to be made by you at the time of purchase using the methods stated as acceptable. Work will not begin on your order until that payment has been cleared.
